Jennifer joined the firm in September of 2025 after completing a clerkship in the Wicomico County Circuit Court for The Honorable Matthew A. Maciarello. Jennifer’s primary focus is supporting the firm’s municipal and local government practice as well as general land use and civil matters.

Jennifer graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2024 with a certificate in Environmental Law. She also holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from Bard College and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Delaware.

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked as an Extension agent with the University of Maryland College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Maryland Sea Grant. For fourteen years she developed, delivered, and evaluated non-formal, science-based education programming for a four-county area of Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore on topics including stormwater management, individual behavior change, civic engagement, and community development, all with the goal of reducing nonpoint source pollution.

Jennifer is also an active volunteer in the community. She volunteers with the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum to help maintain and sail the historic vessel “Edmee S.,” a Chesapeake Bay log sailing canoe that competes annually in organized races on the Eastern Shore. She spent six years on the Town of Easton Planning Commission, ending her tenure in 2024 as chair. She also volunteers every summer with the Avalon Foundation for Plein Air Easton, the largest juried plein air painting competition in the United States.

Jennifer is licensed to practice in Maryland and is a member of the Talbot County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.

Jennifer has made a home and a life on the Eastern Shore since 2004. She currently resides in Easton with her 2 cats, Charlie and Camilla, and several indoor plants that are surviving against all odds. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, thrifting, hiking, volunteering, traveling, sailing, and visiting with friends and family.
